Collectors a été réalisée au Chang Jiang Museum de Chongqing lors d'une invitation à l'événement « Regeneration-Expansion / 异质共生——重生扩展 ». Le Chang Jiang Museum est un musée privé comportant un club d’investisseurs en art contemporain.

Mesdames, Messieurs Bonjour,
Je m’appelle Delphine Richer, je suis une artiste française invitée au Festival International de Performance qui se déroule en ce moment au Chang Jiang Museum.
Aujourd’hui, je vais performer jusqu’au moment où j’aurai collecté 700 yuans.
Cet argent, je vais le collecter auprès de vous, public, et peut-être auprès des passants. En échange de votre paiement (d’un montant de votre choix), je promets de vous envoyer une carte postale spécifique de cette performance, datée, adressée et signée.
Votre carte postale fera partie de l’œuvre et vous deviendrez un collectionneur.
Si je deviens célèbre, ces cartes postales deviendront des oeuvres de grande valeur. Pour vous, cela peut-être un placement financier, le début d’une collection d’œuvres d’art, ou tout simplement un souvenir ou un pari.
Logiquement, plus j’éditerai de cartes postales, moins leur valeur sera élevée. Aussi, si vous me donnez seulement un petit montant d’argent, un plus grand nombre de participants sera requis pour atteindre le but des 700 Yuans, ce qui fera baisser la valeur des cartes. À l’opposé, si vous donnez une somme d’argent importante, vous comblerez une grande part du but à atteindre, moins de cartes postales seront envoyées et leur valeur sera donc plus élevée.
Vous pouvez aussi décider de devenir le propriétaire exclusif de l’oeuvre en donnant directement 700 yuans et obtenir ainsi l’unique carte produite.

Good afternoon Ladies and gentlemen ! My name is Delphine Richer. I’m a French artist invited to attend the international live art festival held in the Changjiang Contemporary Art Museum.
Today, I’m going to perform until I raise 700 yuans.
I will get the money from you, the audience, and maybe passers-by. In exchange for your payment (how much you pay is up to you), I promise to give you a special postcard which relates to this performance. The postcard will be dated, addressed, and signed.
Your postcard will be specifically from this artwork, and you will become a collector.
One day, if I become famous, these postcards will turn out to be very valuable artworks. For you, this may be the beginning of an investment in the art market as an art collector, or it may just be a simple souvenir.
Logically, the more postcards I send out, the less the value of each post card will be. So, if you only pay me a small amount of money, more participants will be required to reach my target of 700 yuans and the value of the artworks will decrease. On the other hand, if you pay a large sum of money, fewer postcards will be sent out and, therefore, the value of each artwork will increase.
You can also become the exclusive owner of the artwork by giving me 700 yuans to get the only, unique, postcard. This will create the highest value postcard.
